Siddharth Chaturvedi’s journey with Sterlite Electric began right out of campus - a place where curiosity met opportunity. What started as an entry point into the core manufacturing world soon became a career built on learning, resilience, and leadership.

Joining the company gave him a rare blend of technical depth and market exposure. He quickly realised that thriving in sales wasn’t just about knowing the product, but was also about understanding people, and the market pulse. This inspired him to step onto the shop floor, which he thinks was essential for building the right foundation.

Experiencing the product’s journey firsthand gave him the confidence to represent it authentically in the market. He credits this hands-on approach, coupled with an inclusive and collaborative culture, for shaping him into the professional he is today.

The trust and accountability Sterlite places in its people is unmatched. The ownership I got here early on was far greater than what peers in similar roles experienced elsewhere. At Sterlite, collaboration, not hierarchy, defines the work environment.

Throughout his journey, Siddharth has been shaped by mentors and leaders who encouraged him to think big and lead with purpose. He often speaks about the impact of working with visionary leaders like Pratik Agarwal, Managing Director, Sterlite Electric, whose guidance continues to inspire him. This culture of mentorship has influenced Siddharth’s own leadership style. One that is rooted in trust, empowerment, and accountability. His story reflects Sterlite’s commitment to nurturing talent and developing leaders from within. 

Under his leadership, the Overhead Products and OPGW segments have grown from modest beginnings to achieving market leadership. He has helped position Sterlite as a preferred partner for major EPC players and built a team known for its performance and camaraderie. Yet, what makes him proudest is not the business milestones. It’s the people. Many of his team members began their careers at Sterlite, just like he did, and have since grown into leaders themselves.

The real success is seeing people you once mentored grow into leaders themselves.

Having spent more than a decade at Sterlite Electric, Siddharth has seen the company become more diverse, inclusive, and globally connected. He takes pride in leading teams across geographies and backgrounds and in seeing women excel in roles once thought impossible. Among his most cherished memories is taking his parents to the Silvassa facility - a moment of pride that reminded him how far the journey had come and how deeply his career is intertwined with the company’s growth.

Sterlite is where I was professionally born, nurtured, and shape. It will remain an integral part of my life and identity.

Siddharth looks to the future with the same sense of purpose that defined his beginnings. He aspires to keep building people, businesses, and meaningful impact. He also hopes to give back to his community in Uttar Pradesh through social and developmental work.
