Pratik Agarwal is the Managing Director of Sterlite Electric. A Wharton graduate with an MBA from the London Business School, he brings over 14 years of experience in building and leading core infrastructure businesses.
Pratik is deeply committed to transforming how electricity reaches people and industries. Under his leadership, Sterlite Electric has pioneered new technologies and committed CAPEX investments towards additional manufacturing facilities. His continued focus on scale, technology, and global competitiveness underlines our confidence in the future.
Pratik was the driving force behind the formation and launch of India’s first power sector Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT). He also champions global energy interconnection through efforts aligned with the One Sun, One World, One Grid (OSOWOG) vision — fostering cross-border transmission to unlock renewable diversity and resilience.
His leadership has been recognized with honours including The Economic Times CEO of the Year Award and ET 40 Under 40. He also serves as the chairman of Serentica and Resonia.
