• Ensures accuracy of numbers being prepared and presented and in a timely manner

• Must have a pro-active approach and problem-solving mindset Provide necessary support to all stakeholders

Finance

• Focus on understanding the numbers instead of just adding and creating a report

• Should have solid understanding of financial statements and their cross linkages and ability to connect the dots

• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes

• Benchmark the organization versus key competitors and relevant industry players to identify areas of competitive advantage

Operational

• Prepare and maintain checklist of all items to be considered while preparing MIS report and cost budget

• Work with the team to update forecast model with actual monthly and help prepare commentary for variances and results

• Support long term business planning and forecasting exercise in coordination with cross functional team

• Extensively and successfully utilize various Business Intelligence (BI) tools

People

• Develop strong relationship with all key stakeholders – Internal Auditors, Function heads, accounting team and Corporate FP&A team

Analytical Decision Making

• Does in-depth research and obtains relevant information from unusual sources to make more informed decisions, within the desired timeframe

• Evaluates and establishes norms/ processes that enable quick and timely decision making within Sterlite
