OUR STRATEGY
Our strategy is focused on addressing complex challenges in the sector by tackling the key constraints of time, space and capital. The Government’s vision of 24×7 energy access to all, coupled with the rapid development of renewable generation capacity, requires transmission projects to be commissioned in a fraction of the conventional time frame, creating a time constraint. Urbanization, environment regulations and Right of Way (ROW) issues create a space constraint for power transmission projects. The scale of investment required to build transmission capacity to meet the country’s power needs is significant, creating a capital constraint.
Our Sterlite business provides solutions to solve complex problems for power utilities and industrial clients. Pravin Agarwal is the Chairman and Non-Executive Director of our Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Patna University. He has an experience of 29 years as a director in overseeing and handling management of companies. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with East-North Interconnection Company, Sterlite Technologies Limited and Speed on Network Limited. He has been associated with our Company since May 18, 2015.

Pravin Agarwal is the Chairman and Non-executive Director of our Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Patna University. He has an experience of 15 years as a director in overseeing and handling management of companies. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Sterlite Technologies Limited, Sterlite Ports Limited, Vizag General Cargo Berth Limited, and Speed on Network Limited. He has been awarded the 40 under 40 Award and the CEO of the Year award by the Economic Times. He is associated with our Company since June 1, 2016.

He is a member of the National Committee on Power constituted by the Confederation of Indian Industries (the “CII”) for Fiscal 2021, the co-chairman of the Infrastructure and Real Estate Committee constituted by the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the president of Electric Power Transmission Association (EPTA) of India. He was also the chairman of the Core Group on Transmission constituted by the CII for Fiscal 2019 and a part of the Task Force on Power Transmission constituted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (the “FICCI”) in 2013. He has been a Director on our Board since June 1, 2016.

She has experience in the field of accounting, financial, commercial and taxation related matters. Prior to joining our Company, she was associated with Schneider Electric Ireland Limited, Shell India Markets Private Limited, Microsoft India (R&D) Private Limited. She is associated with our Company since December 5, 2024. In Fiscal 2025, she received a remuneration of ₹ 1.51 million from our Company.

Anish Khosla is the Chief Marketing Officer of our Company. He is responsible for driving brand positioning, market expansion, and customer engagement to strengthen business growth. He holds a bachelor’s of technology (electrical engineering) from S.J.P.M.L Institute of Engineering and Technology, Radaus, Kurukshetra University. He has 20 years of experience in the marketing sector. Prior to joining our Company, he has previously been associated with Crompton Greaves Limited, Hitachi Energy India Limited and Hitachi Energy L.L.C. He is associated with our Company since May 23, 2025. In Fiscal 2025, he did not receive any remuneration from our Company.
Sanjeev Bhatia
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Sanjeev Bhatia is the Chief Financial Officer of our Company. He has been associated with our Company since October 1, 2020. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Delhi and has passed the Uniform AICPA CPA examination held by New Hampshire Board of Accountancy and final examination held by the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He is responsible for managing activities relating to controllership, tax, internal audits, financial planning and analysis, strategic finance and secretarial functions for the Company. Prior to joining our Company, he has worked with Zuari Leasing and Finance Corporation Limited, GE Capital International Services, Motorola India Private Limited, Indus Towers Limited (formerly known as Bharti Infratel Limited) and Azure Power India Private Limited.

Manish Kumar Srivastava is the Chief Operating Officer-Products of our Company. He is responsible for leading end-to-end product strategy, manufacturing operations, and delivery for products business. He holds a bachelor’s of technology in electrical engineering from Lucknow University. He has 12 years of experience in the engineering sector. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Crompton Greaves Limited and ABB India Limited. He is associated with our Company since February 22, 2023. In Fiscal 2025, he received remuneration of ₹17.53 million from our Company.
Akshay Hiranandani
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR-CORPORATE FINANCE
Akshay Hiranandani leads the Corporate Finance function in Sterlite Power, managing & strategizing capital raise and allocation. He brings over 20 years of experience of which 15 years were in Corporate Finance and Development. He has raised over $ 1.5 bn across debt and equity while working for domestic and international developers. He has overlooked the development & execution of over 1GW of projects in Renewables. Prior to joining Sterlite Power, Akshay ran the structured investment and project finance desk of Piramal Capital in infrastructure, having deployed and exited ~1 bn USD of exposure.

K Arun is the Head HR of our Company. He is responsible for leading people strategy, talent development, and organizational culture for the company. He holds a bachelor’s of science in Mathematics from University of Delhi and a post graduate diploma in management from Goa Institute of Management, Goa. He has 11 years of experience in the HR sector. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Indus Towers Limited and IKEA India Private Limited. He is associated with our Company since March 25, 2019. In Fiscal 2025, he received remuneration of ₹11.29 million from our Company.

Monalisa Sahoo leads the overall brand, marketing and communications portfolio for Sterlite Power. She has held this position since Feb 2019. Monalisa is an experienced marketing leader with over 23 years of experience across multiple industries. She is a great believer in the power of talent, technology and ideas creating the perfect storm for brands to gain mindshare and market share. Prior to this, she was SVP – Enterprise Marketing at Vodafone India.

Ankit Bhardwaj is the Business Head – MSI of our Company. He is responsible for leading the MSI business unit’s growth, strategic direction, and operations . Ruhie is the Group Head of Human Resources of our company. With a diverse career spanning over 20 years, Ruhie has held key HR roles across a range of sectors including financial services, real estate, fashion, information technology, and FMCG. She has managed HR functions during various growth phases, transitions, and transformations, with her most recent venture involving a startup within the sprawling conglomerate of Godrej. Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards and industry accolades for her significant contributions to HR, including recognition as one of the “100 Most Influential HR Leaders in India” by CHRO Asia, the “25 Most Talented HR Professionals in Retail” by Asia Retail Congress, and “Leading Woman in HR” at the 4th Women Leaders Awards in India, organized by IIGBI.

Neeti Wahi is the Group Chief Information Officer for Sterlite Power leading the Information Technology & Digital portfolio for the group. She has been with Sterlite Power since Oct 2019. Prior to her current position she was the CIO for Clix Capital, and before that she has led the IT Function for GE Capital India and SBI Cards. Her 20+ Years of Technology domain experience encompasses spear heading and establishing the technology setup for a start-up, as well as leading the technology function for large scale enterprises. Neeti brings with her both B2B as well as B2C technology expertise. She is a Six Sigma certified professional and holds an MBA degree from Symbiosis, Pune.
Parag Jain
Chief Financial Officer
Parag Jain has over 18 years of expertise in Metals, Mining and FMCG industries across India, Singapore, and Dubai. Parag joins Sterlite Power from Vedanta Group company, Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) – one of the world’s largest and India’s only integrated Zinc-Lead-Silver producer. As the Head of Business Transformation at HZL, Parag provided strategic leadership to the business for transformational initiatives, operational excellence, and profitable growth. He has previously served as the CFO for HZL Smelter and the Head of Corporate Finance overseeing FP&A, business planning and strategy for HZL. From 2017 to 2018, he led the Supply Chain Finance at P&G Arabian Peninsula and was also a part of the GCC VAT Transition. For his work in the field of financial leadership, Parag was named amongst the ‘Top 100 Great Managers 2022’ in The Great Manager Awards®.
He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from MNNIT Allahabad (University Gold Medalist).
